At OWL Engineers the requests for information (RFI) are clearly answered as part of the addendum process. It is the last opportunity to make sure the entire scope is covered and that all contractors are pricing the same components, clear drawings bring accurate pricing and reduce change orders.
During construction OWL Engineers will speak with the contractors regularly and will return shop drawings promtly. Our engineers will review all trades equipment shops which require power to ensure coordination. Our clear communication path will keep the project on track, it is always more efficient and cost effective to fix a problem before it has been installed. Our Engineers will review the contractors work to verify equipment, wiring and devices are the specified equipment and verify proper installation.
Construction Administration starts the day contractors pick up bid packages and does not end until the building is occupied, operating properly, and the owner’s manuals and as-builds have been reviewed and submitted.
